WHAT WE OFFER
Five types of evaluations.
Each evaluation is tailored to the question being asked. We focus on detailed, accurate assessments that lead to actionable recommendations — not generic reports.
— 01 ADHD & Attention Evaluations A thorough assessment of attention, focus, executive function, and behavioral patterns. Distinguishes ADHD from anxiety, learning challenges, or other contributors — and identifies what's actually getting in the way.
— 02 Autism Spectrum Evaluations Comprehensive evaluation for autism in children, adolescents, and adults. Provides clarity on diagnosis, strengths, challenges, and specific recommendations for support at home, school, or work.
— 03 Academic & Learning Evaluations Assesses cognitive functioning, learning patterns, and academic skills. Useful for understanding learning differences, supporting school accommodations, or clarifying why someone is struggling academically.
— 04 Disability & Functional Evaluations Documentation of psychological conditions that affect daily functioning. Often used for workplace accommodations, disability applications, or supporting fair access in educational settings.
— 05 Bariatric & Forensic Evaluations Specialized evaluations for pre-surgical bariatric clearance and select forensic contexts. Conducted with the appropriate clinical and legal rigor.

Your evaluation, step by step.
Evaluations take place over multiple appointments. Here's the typical process, though timing and specifics vary based on the type of evaluation.
Step 01 — Initial Consultation A 30-minute call to understand your concerns and determine the right type of evaluation. We'll discuss your goals, answer questions, and explain what to expect.
Step 02 — Clinical Interview & Background A comprehensive interview to gather history, current functioning, and the specific concerns driving the evaluation. For minors, this typically includes parent input.
Step 03 — Testing Sessions One or more testing sessions — often spread across multiple appointments. Depending on the evaluation type, this can include cognitive testing, attention measures, behavioral inventories, and other instruments.
Step 04 — Feedback & Written Report A dedicated feedback session to review findings, diagnoses, and recommendations. You'll also receive a detailed written report — typically within 2-3 weeks of the final testing session.

A: Most evaluations span 2-4 appointments across several weeks. You'll typically receive your written report 2-3 weeks after the final testing session.
Q: Do you bill insurance for evaluations?
A: We don't bill insurance directly. We provide detailed superbills you can submit for possible reimbursement — many insurance plans cover evaluations partially or fully. We recommend verifying benefits with your insurance before scheduling.
Q: Will the evaluation help with school or workplace accommodations?
A: When clinically appropriate, yes. Our reports are written to support requests for accommodations, IEPs, 504 plans, university disability services, and workplace accommodations. We include specific, actionable recommendations.
Q: Can evaluations be done virtually?
A: Some portions of evaluations (clinical interviews, certain inventories) can be conducted virtually. However, most cognitive and standardized testing requires in-person administration. We'll determine the best format during your initial consultation.

A: Yes — many evaluations address multiple questions simultaneously. We'll discuss your specific concerns during the initial consultation and design the evaluation to answer the questions that matter most.
